Celebrating Our Achievements
Assalamu Alaykum,
There are less than 2 weeks left until our Annual Gala! Join us on Saturday, March 2nd at 5:00 pm for a night to celebrate our outstanding achievements and invest in the future of our home!
Alhamdullilah, over the last year, we have made incredible achievements together as a community. Your support and generosity have been the cornerstone of our success and have allowed us to serve our growing community who calls MAPS home.
We're excited to share some of the achievements made possible by your donations to MAPS.
- Educational Programs: Total enrollments across MAPS programs have seen a substantial increase and in 2023, 75 programs were offered with a total enrollment of 3000+ students.
- MAPS-MCRC: Over the last year, we were able to provide 7500+ families with food assistance and 175,000+ individual lives were touched throughout all services.
- MAPS-SBRN: Our programs have served a total of 568 small businesses and individuals in 2023. We've held workshops, networking events, small business fairs and more.
- MAPS-Youth: Over 130 youth attend our weekly Friday programs. We've had many large scale events such as Career Night, College Night, The Seerah Exhibition and our Youth Retreat.
- Ramadan Programs: Last year, 19,325 Iftar and Suhoor meals were served to community members. 32,300 people attended Taraweeh throughout Ramadan.
- MAPS-IOC: 447 people attended the 2023 Interfaith Iftar. Through school presentations and Masjid tours, we were able to reach 350 people of different faiths.
- Social Programs: Notable programs over the last year include Ramadan Iftars, Eid Bazaars, Family Potlucks, Family Movie Night, Fall Festival, World Hijab Day and a Black History Month Dinner.
- MAPS Snohomish: After securing our new building last year, we've been able to initiate programs such as Sunday School, Pre-K, Quran Class and Halaqas.
- MAPS Seattle: We offer multiple programs including weekly Halaqas, Toddler Time, Tajweed and Hifz classes, MCRC office hours and our sandwich run program.
As we look ahead to the coming year, we're filled withhope and determination to build upon these achievements and continue serving our community with excellence. However, none of this would be possible without your ongoing support.
