Obituary Announcement for Br. Mian Muhammad Ashraf

Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilayhi Rajeoon

"Everyone is going to taste death, and We shall make a trial of you with evil and good, and to Us, you will be returned."

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Br. Mian Muhammad Ashraf in Pakistan, father of Br. Naveed Ashraf, father-in-law of Sr. Asma Naveed.

Br. Naveed Ashraf is currently in Pakistan and friends can offer condolences upon his return.

May Allah (swt) forgive his soul, and grant him the highest place in Jannah, and give patience to the family at this difficult time (Ameen).

اللهُـمِّ اغْفِـرْ له وَارْفَعْ دَرَجَتََـه فِي المَهْـدِيّيـنَ ، وَاخْـلُفْـه في عَقِـبِه في الغَابِِـرِينَ، وَاغْفِـرْ لَنَا وَلَـه يا رَبَّ العـالَمـين، وَافْسَـحْ لَه في قَبْـرِه وَنَـوِّرْ لَه فِيهِ

Transliteration: Allaahummaghfir laho warfa’ darajataho fil-mahdiyyeena, wakhlufho fee ‘aqibiho fil-ghaabireena, waghfir-lanaa wa laho yaa Rabbal-‘aalameena, wafsah laho fee qabriho wa nawwir laho feehi

Meaning: O Allah, forgive him and elevate his station among those who are guided. Send him along the path of those who came before, and forgive us and him, O Lord of the Worlds. Enlarge for him his grave and shed light upon him in it.
