The Hilal to commence the month of Zul Qa'dah 1445 AH was looked for after the sunset on Wednesday May 8, 2024. The HilalWASSIGHTEDby CHC subcommittee members in Plano TX and San Diego CA. It was also sighted in St Paul, MN.
The Central Hilal Committee of North America has accepted these reports and has declaredThursday,May 9, 2024will be the 1st day of Zul Qa'dah 1445 AH.
