Help Us with Ramadan Expenses
This Ramadan, we're bursting with activities! We cannot wait to tell you more!
But to keep up with the many added expenses during the holy month when attendance is more than triple what we see in other months, we humbly ask for your early support to cover added staff, heating/cooling, security, and many more operational expenses.
And, as a small token of our esteem & affection, you will receive a complimentary refillable MCC water bottle to use throughout Ramadan.
Just show your emailed donation receipt to a Board Member, who will be tabling in the foyer after all MCC Jumu'ahs in February.

Keeping Our Community Safe and Welcoming
At MCC East Bay, we are committed to fostering a welcoming and safe environment for everyone. As we continue to grow and serve our community, we ask for your cooperation in upholding the values that make our space inclusive and respectful for all.
To ensure this, we kindly ask everyone to follow these guidelines:
-
Respect the Masjid Help us keep MCC safe and clean by treating it carefully. Please dispose of trash properly, respect the prayer areas, and maintain the sanctity of the space.
-
Stay in Designated Areas To ensure everyone's safety and comfort, we have designated spaces for different activities. Please remain within the appropriate areas to help us maintain order.
-
Follow Safety Protocols MCC has established safety guidelines to protect our community. We ask that you adhere to these protocols to ensure a secure environment.
-
Be Kind to Volunteers Our volunteers dedicate their time and energy to serving the community. Please treat them patiently and kindly as they work to make MCC a better place for everyone.
-
Silence in Prayer Area - Please maintain a peaceful silence in the prayer area while we worship our Lord. Put your phones on silent.
-
Maintain a Clean and Fragrant Masjid -
- Please bring *only* refillable bottled water (not plastic) into the prayer area. All other food and drinks should be enjoyed outside of the prayer area.
- The Prophet loved good scents and considered it a form of charity. Before you leave home and come to taraweeh, lets be mindful of how our breath and clothes smell so that others can enjoy praying beside us, inshaAllah. -
Leave Quietly after 8 Rakats - Feel free to leave silently after eight rakats of taraweeh. However, please do not gather and socialize outside the prayer area since the noise disturbs the remaining worshippers.
For parents, specifically:
-
Cooperation Parents, though we need everyones cooperation, we especially need yours. We want to ensure that MCC is a safe and peaceful place for prayers and a welcoming place for the youth. Please talk to your children and ensure they stay with you or in the designated, age-appropriate areas. If we find your child walking around without an adult, MCCs volunteers or staff will escort him or her to an age-appropriate area.
Note: The babysitting & Youth Programs end immediately after Taraweeh. Please ensure that your children (18 and younger) are with you at that time, as MCC volunteers will not be available afterward, and we are not responsible for their supervision beyond that point.
-
Crying/Noisy Children - If your children are crying or restless, please tend to their needs immediately so that they are comforted, and your fellow worshippers are not disturbed.
We also have a separate mothers prayer hall just past the Banquet Hall and a women's lounge in the lobby for sisters who are not praying and accompanying their families.
-
Child-friendly areas - Children under 18 must be with their parents or in the designated regions for their age group and gender.
We are doing our best to accommodate everyones needs, and with your support, we can make MCC a place where all feel welcome and safe during Ramadan. Thank you for your understanding, cooperation, and commitment to our community.
May Allah (swt) grant you a blessed and accepted Ramadan. Ameen.
