44th Annual Road Race for Education

Our Legacy

The Road Race for Education is a road race and festival located in the heart of East Atlanta. This event, now in its 44th year, brings together the East Lake Community, East Atlanta Neighbors, and the Muslim community to celebrate independent education. The Road Race for Education was previously named The Mohammed Ali Road Race in honor of the legendary athlete Mohammed Ali; this race symbolizes courage, determination, and community spirit.

The legacy of the MSOA Road Race to Education is a testament to the dedication of the school's community and its supporters. As it enters its 44th year, the event continues to thrive, bringing together generations of participants who share a common goal of supporting education.

For the first time, we encourage participants to run in spirit with this years theme - Bow Ties and Tutus, adding a fun and festive element to this year's race experience.

Best costume contest: $100 gift card to top male/female costumed runners!
