RAMADAN PRAYER TIMES
See Iqama times throughout Ramadan listed below. MIC Ramadan 2025 Prayer Calendar is shared below.
9PM: Isha Iqama, Taraweeh, and Khatira for first 10 nights.
6:15AM: Fajr Iqama starting on first day of Ramadan. Will change throughout month.
2:30AM: Qiyam on weekends and last 10 nights.
1PM: Friday Jummah Prayer

THIS WEEKEND
RAMADAN PROGRAMS
Join us this Ramadan and hear the inspiring stories and lessons in this year's Ramadan Taraweeh Series led by Imam Mohammed Faqih & Sh. Yassir Fazaga.
Isha will be held at 9PM followed by Taraweeh prayers. We will pray 8 rakats total each night praying 4 first then breaking for the khatira. After khatira we will complete the last 4 rakats of taraweeh and witr.
Prayers will be led by special guest Sh. Saif Khaled, Imam Mohammed Faqih, Sh. Yassir Fazaga, and Sh. Seifedin Dessie.
Ramadan Taraweeh Childcare Program
Available Every Night for Isha/Taraweeh
Salam for the remaining nights of Ramadan, child care will be provided *free* of charge for ages 12 and under for families attending each night for Isha and Taraweeh.
Please still register kids through the link below for the team to anticipate number of kids attending each night.

Program Details:
On these nights, there will be activity rooms available for ages 12 & under located in the new phase of the building. Entrance is near the cafe and women's restrooms. Each room will have various activities such as legos, arts & crafts, movies, and a child care room.
All children ages 12 & under are required and must be checked into one of these rooms or next to their parents at all times. There will be a check in desk available for parents to check their kids in.
This aims to provide our community a safe, fun, and supervised environment for everyone.
COMMUNITY IFTAR
MIC will be providing community iftars on the weekends (carry out) and iftars and suhoor during the last ten nights of Ramadan (in person) for our community by sponsorships from generous community members.
Full and partial sponsorships are accepted.

RAMADAN YOUTH & YOUNG ADULTS PROGRAMS
RAMADAN QURAN PROGRAMS
In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious the Most Merciful
The Quran Program at the Memphis Islamic Center is honored to announce the upcoming Quran recitation competition for the blessed month of Ramadan 2025. This competition aims to encourage all Muslims to recite the book of Allah with proper Tajweed and beautiful intonation while showcasing Quranic talents within the Muslim community.
Details of Competition:
Categories:
1- Senior Qari 30 Juz recitation (open to all ages)
2- Junior Qari 10 Juz recitation (Under 15 yrs of age)
3- Miniature Qari 5 Juz recitation (Under 10 yrs of age)
Competition rules:
- Mastery of recitation
- Proper articulation and pronunciation of letters
- Knowledge of tajweed rules
- Good performance, smooth reading, and a pleasant voice

In order to be a contestant in the final competition one of the
requirements is that you attend the pre-test recital to ensure all the
rules and requirements are met.
SISTERS RAMADAN SURAH CHALLENGE
Join this special Surah Challenge for Sisters and Memorize Surah Al Baqarah (Level I) or Surah Yaseen (Level 2) or Surah Al Waqiyah this Ramadan.
Final recitations and prizes will be held at MIC on Sunday March 22nd at 1PM.

MIC Quran Program
Registration Now Open
$40 Per Month // Ages 7-16
Program is $40 per month. Students will meet twice per week for one hour each day. Sessions available to select from are Monday & Wednesday, Tuesday & Thursday, or Saturday & Sunday.
Sessions will include lessons on Quran Reading & Memorization, Islamic Studies, and Du'a Memorization.

RAMADAN CHILDREN'S EDUCATION
RAMADAN SUNDAY SCHOOL
Ages 4-12 // $50 Fee
Main Building // 10AM - 1PM
MIC will be providing a special Sunday School program tailored for Ramadan. The program will run every Sunday during the month from 10AM - 1PM and will provide a beneficial schedule for ages 4-12 covering Quran, Islamic Stories, Pillars of Islam, as well as games and activities.
Please note - Current Sunday School students do not need to re-register.
MOMMY & ME STORYTIME
Join Mommy & Me Storytime for Children every Sunday at 11AM as it continues throughout the month of Ramadan at MIC.
