The Muslim Community Association (MCA) in Santa Clara, California, invites qualified and experienced janitorial service providers to submit proposals for comprehensive cleaning and custodial services across its campuses. This includes routine cleaning, event support, and periodic deep cleaning of all designated MCA facilities. The selected contractor will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of MCA's facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for all community members.

For Executive Board: Asim Khan (Gen. Sec.), Mohammed Saeed (Treas.),Shagufta Ahmed (Social Sec.), and Reem Rahman (Comms Sec.) have completed their terms. Roohi Ahmed, Abdirahman Hussein, Abdul Qadeer Mohammad, and Dualle Nuh will have been voted in, and the roles will be decided by the new board together.
The last executive board meeting covered such topics as: ensuring the plan for Ramadan 2026 is finalized by mid-October and reviewing employee responsibilities and resourcing.
We alsomet with incoming board membersto welcome them to the board, answer any initial questions, and provideonboardingchecklist and resources broken down with tasks before joining (constitution review, etc.), within a week of joining (access, etc.), and within a month of joining (goal setting, etc.). A boardtrainingby an external expert is planned within the first month of the new term.
A major ongoing operational challenge is toensure that****our building neighbors parking needs are respectedduring Jummah. Thank you to those helping to arrive early to give enough time to park legally and without disturbing our neighbors.
