MESSAGE FROM IMAM ARSALAN HAQUE

Dear IACC Community

Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh

The Winter Weather Advisory ends at 12:00 pm today. As temperatures continue to rise gradually during the day, road conditions are expected to improve as well. 

However, at this time, the masjid parking lot remains largely covered in snow and ice (see pictures below). The police are unwilling to come and help with traffic and pedestrian crossing. The security officers are also unavailable during Jumuah today. 

In light of the above, we strongly encourage all community members to stay safe and pray Zuhr at home. The Friday Prayer is NOT an obligation under these circumstances. 

Those who still wish to come to IACC for Jumuah may do so, exercising extreme caution while driving and walking. Jumuah will be held at the usual times (1:00 pm and 2:15 pm).
