Please join the MAPS-MCRC Community Clinic for our second Mental Health Webinar! This session continues to feature national experts in mental health and community well-being.
This session, Stress vs. Anxiety, will explore how to recognize the difference between everyday stress and clinical anxiety, and how each affects our minds, bodies, and relationships. Our speakers will offer practical strategies grounded in clinical knowledge and faith-based guidance to help you or your loved ones navigate these challenges.

Amanda Adhami, LCSW, CADAC-V, BCPG, ICOGS
A clinical social worker, educator, and community advocate, Amanda brings deep expertise in mental health, substance use, and ethical practice. She currently serves as Clinical Director at Emberwood Center, runs her own private practice, and teaches at Indiana University Bloomington’s School of Social Work.
Ustadh Umair Lasania
A graduate of Darul Uloom Bury, Qasid Arabic Institute, and Qalam Institute’s ʿĀlimīyyah Program, Ustadh Umair brings a unique faith-based perspective to mental wellness. He currently serves as Youth Director at Alhuda Islamic Center of Indiana and as an Islamic Studies instructor at Eman Schools.
