UC Master Gardener Talk Series: Tips for Fall Gardening, Soil Prep, and Composting
Organized by MCA Sustainability committee with MCA Youth
Come and learn various tips to start your fall plantings with direct seeds and transplant cool-season seedlings. Learn how to improve your garden soil fertility by making and using compost ands growing winter cover crops. After the talk, we will visit the MCA/GIS garden for Q&A and hear inputs and recommendations.

Follow up this talk with Ustadha Shamira's Passionate Marriage Talk. Ustadha Shamira completed the rigorous Alimiyya Degree from the UK and holds a Master's Degree in Demographics from UCI. She's a co-founder of the Rahmah Foundation and currently teaches for Nur al Iman, a full time girl's shariah program in the Bay Area. Ustadha Shamira is passionate about educating women to reach their highest spiritual potential through acquiring sacred knowledge.
