Dhul-Qiddah

As of May 9, 2025, we are in the Islamic month of Dhu al-Qi’dah (11th month of 1446 AH), one of the four sacred months in Islam during which warfare is traditionally prohibited. This period is a time for reflection, spiritual renewal, and preparation for the upcoming Hajj pilgrimage in Dhu al-Hijjah. Notably, the middle days of Dhu al-Qi’dah—13th to 15th—are recommended for Sunnah fasting, known as the White Days (Ayyam al-Beed), offering an opportunity for increased devotion and seeking closeness to Allah.

Spring Youth Writing Contest

What does nature mean to you?
What can a mountain, a storm, or a single tree teach us about Allah — or about ourselves?

This spring, we want to read writing about the ways nature moves you — physically, emotionally, spiritually — and how it ties back to your faith.

The Spring Youth Writing Competition opens for submission May 1st. We will be judging undergraduate and high school students separately. Winners in each category will receive a $25 gift card and be featured at our celebration event on June 21st.
