How does it work?
You, the account holder, make deposits just as you normally would at your existing bank, and have access to log in to our secure online portal and view your account and bank statements.
However, UNLIKE traditional banks that lend your money out to small businesses as loans or for mortgages and collect interest each month, MAUN Federal Credit Union instead lends the money back into the community to qualified members that are seeking to escape oppressive cycle of debt with high-interest credit cards and loans, for a one-time, nominal application fee and *no interest payments. These qualified borrowers then pay back their loan in installments.
