Dr. Main Alqudah, an Associate Professor at Guidance College in Houston, Texas, holds Ph.D.s in Islamic studies from American Open University and Al-Azhar University, with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Al-Azhar. He is also an Associate Professor and a member of the Resident Fatwa Committee of AMJA. With extensive experience in Islamic Studies, he has lectured at schools and colleges, addressing large audiences at regional and national conferences on topics like Islamic finance, interest-bearing transactions, Zakah rules for American Muslims, the recent financial crisis, and contemporary issues concerning the Muslim family.
