Assalamualaikum Brother
Alhamdulillah, As we find ourselves immersed in the sacredness of these blessed months with Ramadan dawning upon us, we come together to share the news of a noble project that Allah, in His infinite wisdom, has bestowed upon us.
Currently, our community is nurturing the development of approximately 275 devoted students enrolled in various programs such as Hifdh, Alima, Teen Tarbiyat, Ilm prep, and Raudatul Atfaal. An additional 46 students attend the After-school maktab. The Amatur Rahman Girls Academy, our current space for these programs, is now strained to its limits.
Last year, by the grace of Allah, we acquired a 40,000 sqft building named the Islamic Complex and Youth Center. However, due to city permits, the renovation work had to pause for about six months. Alhamdulillah, we are grateful to announce that internal renovations recommenced last month. Yet, a pressing need has emerged, requiring us to raise approximately $835k for the ongoing renovations, including the installation of sprinkler/alarm systems. Additionally, we seek $285k for the upcoming payment due on May 1st 2024.
Alhamdulillah, through the grace of Allah, we also serve students that are refugees or in need of financial assistance. As there's no extra funding, we depend on contributions from generous donors like you.
In light of these circumstances, we humbly extend out to the community, seeking your support for this enduring and rewarding Sadaqa Jariya. Whether contributing towards the purchase of the ICYC building or sponsoring a student of knowledge, your benevolence will undoubtedly leave a lasting impact on the establishment of Deen in our beautiful country.
We wish to emphasize that Zakat funds cannot be utilized for the ICYC renovation or payment purposes. However, we gratefully accept Zakat for eligible students. Kindly specify any Zakat donations accordingly.
May Allah, the Most Generous, shower His blessings upon you and your families during this blessed month, rewarding your efforts and making it a source of immense Barakah. Your support will not only impact the present but will resonate as a blessed legacy on the Day of Judgment for those who contributed to the establishment of Deen in our beloved community.
