Alhamdulillah, we are pleased to share an important update on our masjid construction progress. By Allah's grace, we remain on track to complete Phase I of our project by the end ofOctober 2025, insha'Allah.
Phase I Foundation Work Overview
Our Phase I work focuses on establishing the complete foundation for Masjid Khadeejah. This critical phase involves constructing the basement shell across our 14,000 square foot basement area, which includes:
Phase I Summary:
Investment: $1.3 million
Timeline: end of October 2025
Funding Plan: existing funds and additional community support. We have close to $950K in the bank_after_covering close to $100K in excavation costs.
Looking Ahead to Phase II
Upon completing our foundation work, Phase II will bring our masjid above ground, insha'Allah. This phase includes:
Phase II Summary:
Investment: $2.5 million (primary expenses: steel erection, concrete work for main floor, and plumbing)
Timeline: 8-10 months
**Funding Plan:**We will arrange Phase II funding through loans and community fundraising during Q3 and Q4 2025, insha'Allah.
