🕌 Something for the Entire Family This Ramadan at Masjid DarusSalam!
As-Salam 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu,
Masjid DarusSalam follows the Chicago Hilal Committee's declarations regarding the beginning of the Islamic Months. Once a decision is made regarding the start of the month of Ramadan, we will inform our community on all of our social media platforms. Please note that the first tarawih this year will either be on Sunday, March 10th or on Monday, March 11th based on the sighting of the crescent with the following day being the first day of fasting Inshallah.
For the comfort of our brothers and sisters, and to minimize the waiting time at Masjid DarusSalam for the announcement of whether the moon was sighted or not, please note that just for Sunday, March 10th, Isha jamat will be at 9:30 pm. From Monday, March 11 onwards, Isha jamat will revert back to the original time of 8:30 pm.
