As-Salamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,

Allah has specified different time periods throughout the year where rewards are multiplied. One of these times is Dhu al-Hijjah, the last month of the Islamic year.

The Prophet said "There are no days in the year wherein the worship of Allah is more beloved to Him than the ten days of Dhu al-Hijjah. The fast during these days (excluding the tenth) is equivalent to the fast of an entire year and standing up in ibaadah during these nights is equivalent to the reward of the night of Qadr (power)." (Tirmidhi #758)

Inshallah, the first day of Dhu al-Hijjah will be Saturday, June 8th. The Day of Arafah will be Sunday, June 16th and Eid Al-Adha will be on Monday, June 17th. May Allah allow us to utilize these days in the best manner and grant us all his mercy and forgiveness.
