Special Prayer During the Eclipse

Assalaamu 'Alaikum

As you may be aware, a solar eclipse will be taking place on Monday, April 8th in the afternoon. The eclipse is expected to begin in the Queens, NY area just after 2 PM. In accordance with the sunnah of Prophet Muhammad ( ), we will be performing the Salat Al-Kusuf (Prayer of the Eclipse) during this time.

We invite you to join us for this special prayer, which will take place at Masjid As-Siddiq on Monday, April 8, 2024 at 2:30 PM, In shaa Allah. The prayer will be led by Shaykh Adeeb Zaman and followed by a brief khutbah, In shaa Allah. We ask that you arrive a few minutes early for an overview of the prayer.
