Respected Champions Community:
Due to the ongoing freezing and icy conditions, the following steps have been taken:
1. Water supply at the masjid has been shut off to avoid the risk of water leaks or flooding due to pipe bursting. Please do wudu from home if you are coming to the masjid to perform salah, and please drive carefully as roads and especially overpasses are slippery.
2. All masjid events, programs, and classes were already cancelled for today, and these cancellations continue for Tuesday, Jan 16th, and possibly also Wednesday, Jan 17th.
The masjid administration will continue watching the weather forecast for our area and will send out additional communication as needed. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause.
May Allah SWT protect all of us from any weather related harm and keep our homes and masjid safe. Ameen.
