Letter from the MCA President
Assalamu Alaikum,
Ramadan Mubarak! Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah (SWT) be upon you.
On behalf of the MCA boards, staff, and volunteers, we welcome the month of Ramadan with hearts filled with joy and in the mercy of Allah (SWT). May His blessings be bestowed on all of us during this holy month.
The first night of taraweeh will be on Sunday, March 10, led by our beloved Shaikh Syed Jibril. The first day of fasting will be on Monday, March 11, inshallah.
As we fast and offer our dua's, we pray to Allah (SWT) to give us hope, courage, and strength to face our everyday challenges and make our country and the world a better place.
In this blessed month, were prepared and ready to welcome you and serve you at the MCA. We have many events and programs planned for this year. Please stay tuned for an upcoming publication with a complete schedule of Ramadan timetables and activities.
I'd also like to encourage our members to help support our masjid. As you know, construction for the MCA 3.0 project began on February 19, 2024. This project will provide an expanded middle and high school, a multi-purpose sports arena, a dedicated womens gym, a medical clinic, youth lounges and additional workspace. Please support MCA by donating on our website, mcabayarea.org/donate.
This year we have made a way to sponsor daily iftar via LaunchGood.Com/mcaramadan20nights - as well as other MCA donation campaigns like programs, projects and activities..

New Jummah Times at Masjid Al Noor Daylight Saving Time Begins Next Week March 15
Starting Friday, March 15, 2024, Daylight Saving Time starts, and Jummah Time will change at Masjid Al Noor: 1st Jummah will be at 1:30 PM, while 2nd Jummah will be at 2:30 PM.
MCA Jummah time will remain the same year round: the 1st Jummah will be at 12:15 PM and the 2nd Jummah at 1:30 PM.

Sister L, a widow and mother of six school-aged children, is striving to rebuild her life after her husband's death in Afghanistan. Having arrived as refugees, they initially received rental assistance from an agency, but this support has now ceased. Currently seeking a more affordable living situation, they need help with the deposit for a new home.
