Upcoming Events: Eid al-Adha, Volunteer Opportunities and World Refugee Day
Assalamu Alaikum masjid plus,
We hope you are well! We are grateful for everyone who has joined us recently at the masjid. We look forward to many opportunities over the next month for our community to come together including Salah of Eid al-Adha on Sunday, June 16 at 8:30 AM.
Thank you to the more than 20 volunteers who joined us last weekend to volunteer for our Food Relief Program! Thanks to our dedicated volunteers, we were able to complete our volunteer tasks ahead of schedule and provide food packages to approximately 90 families.
Our next volunteer opportunity with the Food Relief Program is Saturday, July 13. Click here to learn more.
Thank you Adil (top), Kai and Yasir (bottom left), and Rokhiya (bottom right) and all of our volunteers for your commitment to our Food Relief Program.
If you are in need of food, our Food Relief Program provides free, culturally-responsive food packages to families each month. The next food distribution will take place on July 13. Click here to apply.
DDIC is investing in the future of our community by providing humanitarian services, like the Food Relief Program, that meet the immediate and long-term needs of our community, including immigrants and refugees. We are committed to lifting people up that seek refuge in our community.
The United Nations established World Refugee Day to honor refugees around the world and celebrate the strength and courage of people who have been forced to flee their home country to escape conflict or persecution.
P.S. The simplest way to support the DDIC is to leave us a review on our Google profile. Please consider, as this will help us reach more people in Denver.
