As Salaam Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah,
Theres been new wave of immigrants coming to the United States, especially in Chicago. Many have been sleeping on the streets, subway, open fields, police stations, airports, and other places. Upon request, weve hosted about 40 50 of them in our have halfway houses. As Muslims, it is upon us to help others in need for the greater good in society.
We need support from our general community to assist us with feeding them. Daily, we feed several migrants from our community at our Masjid. The cost to feed them is around $300 - $500 which includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
You can help us by:
- Purchasing groceries for some volunteers to cook
- Cooking hot meals at home to bring to the Masjid.
- Donate funds for us to purchase groceries to make hot meals.
- Sponsor catered meals from a restaurant.
- Provide cooked meals from your restaurant if you're a restaurant owner.
May Allah increase your wealth and grant you, your family, and the rest of the believers Paradise Ameen.
