Those who spend their wealth in charity day and night, secretly and openlytheir reward is with their Lord, and there will be no fear for them, nor will they grieve. - 2:274
Beloved Brothers and Sisters in Islam,
As-Salamu Alaykum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.
We have now entered the final, most sacred phase of this blessed Ramadan - the Last 10 Nights. Within this period lies a night that has been described as "better than a thousand months" (Quran 97:3) - the Night of Glory, Laylatul Qadr, also known as the Night of Decree.
This is a night of immense spiritual significance, a time when the divine blessings and mercy of Allah (SWT) are at their peak. It is during this night that our deeds, our acts of worship, and our charity carry a weight unmatched by any other time of the year. Any good deed performed on this night is greater than performing it continuously for 83 years and 4 months.
As we anxiously await and strive to capture this blessed night, let us not forget the importance of supporting our beloved MACA Mosque through the Annual Ramadan Fundraiser. Just as we seek the forgiveness and pleasure of our Creator through our acts of worship, so too must we open our hearts and wallets to sustain the very institution that nurtures our spiritual growth and community bonds.
Every donation, every act of generosity during these Last 10 Nights, holds the potential to be multiplied beyond our comprehension. Imagine the immeasurable rewards that await those who give selflessly in the pursuit of pleasing Allah (SWT) during this most sacred time.
Let us seize this opportunity, for it may not present itself again. Let us give with open hearts, knowing that our contributions today will echo through eternity, insha'Allah.
May the blessings of Laylatul Qadr illuminate our paths, and may our charity be a means of attaining the ultimate reward the pleasure of our Merciful Lord.
Additionally, MACA is extending its services to facilitate donations for Sadaqah (voluntary charity) and Zakat (obligatory alms) during this blessed month.
Giving Sadaqah is a means to purify one's wealth and attain the pleasure of Allah (SWT)
Paying Zakat is a pillar of Islam and a sacred obligation
MACA recognizes the immense importance of fulfilling these acts of worship by providing a convenient platform to collect and distribute funds to those in need. By donating at MACA, the community can ensure their contributions reach those who are truly deserving.
JazakAllah Khayrun.
