Eid ul-Fitr on Wednesday, April 10, 2024
MACA Mosque has been closely monitoring the moon sighting reports from religious institutions around the world. Unfortunately, the necessary confirmations for the new Shawwal moon to be sighted on Tuesday have not been received. As a result, Taraweeh prayers will continue to be held on Monday night, and Tuesday, April 9th, will remain a day of fasting.
Eid ul-Fitr will now be celebrated on Wednesday, April 10th.
There will be TWO EID PRAYERS, InShaAllah
Venue: MACA MASJID
3 Lafayette Ave, Voorhees Township NJ 08043
DATE: Wednesday, April 10th
PRAYER #1
Takbeerat: 7:00 am
Salat: 7:30 am
PRAYER #2
Takbeerat: 9:00 am
Salat: 9:30 am
Parking Arrangements
To accommodate the influx of worshippers, parking at the MACA premises will be on a first-come, first-served basis. We have requested the assistance of local police officers to help with parking coordination. We kindly urge our community members to cooperate with them during this busy time.
May Allah (SWT) accept our efforts and grant us the true spirit of Eid. MACA looks forward to celebrating this auspicious day with you all.
Please be aware, Zakat al-Fitr is due before the Eid-ul-Fitr prayers. It is currently calculated at $15 per person in the household and is to be paid for each living member in the household from young infants to the elderly. To learn more about the difference between Zakat (Zakat al-Mal) and Zakat al-Fitr, please visit this page.
MACA still needs your donations this Ramadan. We are still very far from our goal, having raised only 47% of our $125,000 fundraiser goal. We are still short of $65,000, and there are only 1 days left before this blessed month of Ramadan ends. Brothers and sisters, let us give with open hearts, knowing that our contributions today will echo through eternity, insha'Allah.
Give Sadaqah
Open Your Heart: Let Your Sadaqah Be the Light for the Underprivileged.
MACA Mosque also accepts optional Sadaqah donations to support their charitable initiatives.
Give out Zakat
Fulfill the Third Pillar, Ease the Burden of Others: Pay Your Zakat.
MACA Mosque is accepting annual individual obligatory Zakat (Zakat al-Mal) donations throughout the year.
