A Reminder: Read the Quran - the Source ofHealing and Guidance for our hearts
"وَلَا تَهِنُوا۟ وَلَا تَحْزَنُوا۟ وَأَنتُمُ ٱلْأَعْلَوْنَ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ"
"So do not weaken and do not grieve, and you will be superior if you are [true] believers." (3:139)
"ٱلَّذِينَ قَالَ لَهُمُ ٱلنَّاسُ إِنَّ ٱلنَّاسَ قَدْجَمَعُواْ لَكُمْ فَٱخْشَوْهُمْ فَزَادَهُمْ إِيمَٰنًا وَقَالُواْ حَسْبُنَا ٱللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ ٱلْوَكِيلُ"
Those who were warned, “Your enemies have mobilized their forces against you, so fear them,” the warning only made them grow stronger in faith and they replied, “Allah [alone] is sufficient [as an aid] for us and [He] is the best Protector.” (3:173)
Quebec City Mosque
Marking the anniversary of the Quebec City Mosque shooting on Jan 29, 2017, MAC has delivered a letter to the Prime Minister detailing the ongoing challenges faced by Canadian Muslims. Let's also pause to honour the lives tragically lost to Islamophobia on this day. A reminder that the fight against Islamophobia in Canada is far from over. Amid systemic Islamophobia in government institutions, tangible reforms have not been implemented. Eight years into his tenure, many of the Prime Minister's promises to the Muslim community are still unfulfilled.

To support relief efforts, consider donating to the following Canadian charities:
Since October 7th, hundreds of Gazans have arrived in Canada fleeing the war in Gaza. In the coming weeks hundreds more are expected to arrive through the family reunification program. Unfortunately, the Canadian government has not committed to any financial aid or needed government services for these Gazans fleeing war.
MAC is launching the Embrace Gaza campaign. A comprehensive program to support our Gazan brothers and sisters and their families with social support and integration, and financial aid.
Have you experienced any form of Islamophobia? If YES, please submit a report. It is important to reach out and report any incidents of hate and religious discrimination.
