These Ten Days: A Time to Worship, A Time To Stand

Dear brothers and sisters,

We are now entering days so beloved to Allah that He swore by them in the Quran:

By the dawn and by the ten nights. (Surah Al-Fajr, 89:1-2)

These are the days in which the footsteps of Prophet Ibrahim echoed with submission, and the skies bore witness to the noblest acts of love: sacrifice, surrender, and steadfastness.

: ( : : )

The Prophetsaid:

There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days. The companions asked,_Not even jihad for the sake of Allah?_He replied,Not even jihadexcept for a man who left with his life and wealth and returned with neither. (Bukhari)

These ten days of Dhul-Hijjah are not ordinary.

They are a spiritual seasonan intensive retreat for the heart, soul, and body.

They are the provisions of the committed, and the training ground for those who strive in Allahs causein silence and in public, in hardship and in ease.

Yet as we fast and pray, another part of our Ummah bleeds.

Gazaa name that now symbolizes not only resilience, but also a piercing reminder of our global responsibility.

While we prepare for Eid, they search for missing loved ones.

While we stand for night prayers, they stand over ruins.

While we raise our hands in dua, they raise their martyrs to the sky.

O believers, O carriers of this deen

What is the worth of our worship if it does not stir us to compassion and courage?

What is the use of our dua if it does not move us to action?

We are not helpless.

We have been gifted these days when every deed is multiplied, every tear is recorded, and the heavens are open to sincere callers.

The Hadith Qudsi reminds us:

" "Is there anyone asking, that I may give to him?

Let us then fastnot out of routine, but as a declaration of surrender.

Let us praynot mechanically, but with broken, hopeful hearts.

Let us givenot what is easy, but what reflects the urgency of those who suffer.

Let every sincere Muslim, every home, every heart raise the dua:

O Allah, be with our brothers and sisters in Gaza

Shelter their orphans, heal their wounded, honor their martyrs, and strengthen their hearts. And grant us the courage not to forget them.

These are not just the best ten days of the year

They may be our best opportunity to rise as an Ummah.

To move past fear and comfort, to challenge silence and complacency, and to live as true khulaf of Allah on earthbearers of light, mercy, and resolve.

Allah has promised those among you who believe and do righteous deeds that He will surely grant them succession in the land(Surah An-Nur, 24:55)

Let us begin here, in these ten nights. With sincerity. With sacrifice. With unwavering faith. So the world may know:

This Ummah is still alive. It still breathes.

And by Allahs grace, it will rise againthrough us, if we rise with Allah.

Indeed, Allah will support those who support His cause.(Surah Al-Hajj, 22:40)

May Allah SWT bring all blessing upon you and your loved ones
