Due to Sudden Federal Cancellation
Fourteen Afghan refugee families in Modesto are being evicted from hotels_today and tomorrow_due to the sudden cancellation of federal grants. Hundreds more will face homelessness within a month.
An emergency task force has been formed to take immediate action. We need your support NOW.

Welcoming Ramadan!
Alhamdulillah Ramadan is just around the corner, and we couldn't be more excited to welcome this blessed month together as a community!
According to the Fiqh Council of North America (FCNA), Ramadan will begin on the evening of Friday, February 28, with Taraweeh prayers kicking off this sacred time. The first day of fasting will be Saturday, March 1, and inshallah, we'll celebrate Eid on Sunday, March 30.

MCA Youth- Family Lunch Potluck
What: MCA Youth is honored to host a Family lunch Potluck! During our community potluck, we would like to engage our youth by having them speak about the significance of Ramadan. We invite youth ages 14-30 to submit a poem or a meaningful piece reflecting on the importance of Shaban and preparing for Ramadan.

MCA Youth x Bridgetech Technology Coding Program
What: Join a fun and interactive program designed to introduce middle and elementary school students basic coding! The hybrid format includes one hour online classes on zoom on Fridays to teach general concepts and In person classes on Saturdays each week for practice and additional learning. The Life of the Prophet Muhammad

What: Embark on a weekly book study of The Life of the Prophet Muhammad by Leila Azzam & Aisha Gouverneur to learn the chronology of the life of the Prophet . This useful introduction to the Seerah draws on traditional Islamic biographical literature, including Hadith, and uses passages from the Qur'an throughout to reinforce the stories.
