Last day of Rabi al Awwal

The new crescent moon was not sighted last night, therefore, Rabi al-Awwal will complete its 30 day cycle. Crescentwatch source.

Jumuah Mubarak to our dear brothers and sisters.

On this last day of Rabi al Awwal, let us reflect on the profound message of the Prophet not just in his teachings but in the compassion he embodied throughout his life. He was the beacon of hope for those lost, a refuge for those in despair, and a guide who showed us how to transform our hearts.

When the Prophet was given the choice of a special prayer to be answered, he chose to save it for usfor a day when no one else will be able to help. On the Day of Judgment, as all stand in distress, it is our Prophet who will plead: "O Allah, my ummah! My ummah!" This selfless devotion should awaken a love in us that drives us to follow his way.

The teachings of the Prophet are notmere historical facts; they are a living path that leads to the love of Allah. The Prophets kindness, generosity, patience, and perseverance are examples we must strive to emulate.

As we move beyond this blessed month, may we continue to internalize his examplenot just to honor his memory but to transform our own lives and the lives of those around us. Let us strive to be a source of mercy to thosearound us by feeding the hungry, visiting the sick, and giving charity regularly, just as the Prophet said, "The merciful are shown mercy by the Most Merciful. Be merciful to those on the earth, and the One above the heavens will have mercy upon you." (Jami' at-Tirmidhi 1924)

Let us be a light that guidesothers to goodness and to Islam by speaking only words of truth, reconciling between those in conflict, and offering a helping hand to our neighbors, remembering that the Prophet said, "The best of people are those who are most beneficial to others." (Al-Mu'jam Al-Awsat 5787)

As we strive to embody thebeautiful character of the Prophet , we invite you to deepen your understanding of his life and teachings by joining our upcoming Seerah classes starting October 19. In thesesessions with Ustadh Tariq, you will learn about the trials he faced, the lessons he imparted, and how we can apply his timeless teachings in our lives today.
