The Program
Little Hearts of Noor Club
Welcome to Little Hearts of Noor Club, a nurturing, faith-centered space designed to care for and engage children ages 6 months to 5 years old. Our program is specially created for parents attending events and programs at The ICOI Village and masjid, offering a convenient and enriching environment for your little ones while you focus on your commitments for a maximum of 2 hour sessions.
At Little Hearts of Noor Club, we provide a safe, loving, and vibrant atmosphere where children are encouraged to explore, learn, and grow, all within the framework of Islamic values. Our team of well-qualified Noor Heart Helpers ensures each child is treated with the utmost care, respect, and attention. They are trained to foster emotional, intellectual, and social development in a way that honors Islamic teachings and promotes the values of kindness, respect, patience, and empathy.
Throughout their time with us, children will be introduced to fundamental Islamic concepts, such as love for the Prophet (PBUH), respect for parents, and the importance of gratitude and sharing. Age-appropriate activities such as storytelling, arts and crafts, and gentle lessons about Islamic morals will keep the children engaged while nurturing their curiosity and spiritual growth.
Our goal is to create a comfortable, peaceful environment where children can experience the joy of learning, the warmth of community, and the beauty of Islam. Your little ones will leave with hearts full of love, their spirits uplifted, and their minds enriched.
We look forward to welcoming your child into the Little Hearts of Noor Clubwhere love, learning, and faith come together in harmony.
Disclaimer: this is not a long term daycare, but a program offered for a maximum of 2 hours designed to provide respite for parents while they participate in services at the ICOI.
Meet Our Program Director
As-Salaam wa Alaikum!
My name is Amanda Alamro, and I am truly honored to introduce myself as the Program Director of Little Hearts of Noor Club. Ive had the pleasure of living in Orange County for the past five years and have been part of the ICOI community since I moved to Irvine two years ago, after getting married, Alhamdulillah.
With a diverse background in child education and childcare, I bring a wealth of experience to this role. I hold a degree in Behavioral Developmental Psychology from UCSD and have had the privilege of teaching preschool at New Horizon Los Angeles. I've also taught fine arts to children aged 5 to 13 and spent the last four years working as a nanny for over six families. Alhamdulillah, each of these experiences has enriched me deeply, allowing me to recognize the incredible potential of children and the profound impact that caring, trustworthy, and loving caregivers have on their development.
Caring for children has always been a passion of mineit brings me immense joy and fulfillment. I feel incredibly blessed to now have the opportunity to continue this journey within the beautiful community of our Muslim Ummah.
At the heart of my caregiving philosophy are the values of communication, respect, empathy, love, and joy. I believe these principles are essential in nurturing children and helping them thrive in a supportive and loving environment. I am truly excited to contribute to the growth of Little Hearts of Noor Club, where well not only care for our little ones but also strengthen the bonds of our community and village.
InshaAllah, I look forward to meeting you all soon and working together to create a vibrant, nurturing space for our children.
Jazakum Allahu Khairan.
