Assalaamu Alaykum Masjid,

As we approach the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah, I write to remind you of the tremendous virtue and opportunity these days present. The Prophet (peace be upon him) described them as the best days in this world, saying:

There are no days on which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days. [Bukhari]

These days are unique in that they gather together all major acts of worshipprayer, fasting, charity, remembrance of Allah, and pilgrimage. They are a time for renewal, devotion, and striving in all forms of goodness.

As part of our collective effort to uplift our spirits and draw nearer to Allah, the Social Services Department of ADAMS Center has launched a community-wide initiative titled: **.

We invite every member of our communityyoung and oldto or more during these blessed days. This is not only a spiritual effort but a way to unify hearts and revive the practice of remembrance in our homes and gatherings.

Let us also remember that comes in many forms:

  • Reciting and reflecting on the Quran
  • Sending abundant blessings upon the Prophet (peace be upon him)
  • Seeking forgiveness and turning to Allah in sincere repentance
  • Standing in night prayer (Qiym al-Layl)even a few rakahs bring immense light and nearness to Allah

I also remind you of the significance of Eid al-Adha, one of the greatest celebrations in Islam. It carries a powerful message of sacrifice, faith, and reliance upon Allah, rooted in the legacy of Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) and his blessed family. We especially honor the story of Hajar (peace be upon her), whose strength, trust in Allah, and unwavering resolve continue to inspire generations.

Let us seize this opportunity:

  • To serve those in need, locally and globally
  • To stand in solidarity with the oppressed and displaced
  • To reaffirm our Islamic identity, especially among our youth

May Allah bless these days for all of us, accept our deeds, and include us among those whose names are written among His righteous and forgiven servants.
