St. Vincent Campus has been a receiving, welcoming and resettling refugees in mid-Michigan for over 45 years. St. Vincent provides basic essentials to welcome refugees to the Lansing community and help them reach self-sufficiency, helping them rebuild their lives with dignity and respect. Join us to hear more about their services, the challenges they are facing with owing to changes initiated by the new administration and how we can join hands and serve the refugees in our area.

Volunteering opportunity - Bring your children, assemble meals!

We are partnering with Islamic Relief USA to help combat hunger by assembling meals for our neighbors in need. We need your help to assemble 20,000 meals that will be distributed to our local partners!

"Lyd" - Film screening and fundraiser

2-5 pm | Saturday, April 26 | Allen Neighborhood Center 1611 Kalamazoo St, Lansing

 Join Lansing For Palestine for a fundraiser film screening of "Lyd", the 2023 award winning Palestinian sci-fi documentary film about Al-Lyd, the city that once connected Palestine to the world.

In addition to the film, vendors will be selling crafts, baked goods, tshirts, and more. 100% of proceeds from the film and vendors will be donated to two organizations working on the ground in Gaza:

  1. Dahnoun Mutual Aid Fund (chuffed.org/project/115245-dahnoun-mutual-aid). Palestinian and Gazan volunteers providing life-sustaining aid in Gaza including food, tents, water and baby supplies.

  2. The Gaza Infant Nutrition Alliance (www.gina.org.uk). Providing breastfeeding and nutritional support to mothers and healthcare professionals in Gaza.

When: Saturday April 26th, 2025 at 2-5pm

Where: Alenn Neighborhood Center - 1611 Kalamazoo St

Cost: Pay what you can (Suggested donation $5-20)
