Lebanon Support Drive is Tomorrow!

Assalamu Alaykum,

THIS SATURDAY (Tomorrow on 10/19) from 2PM to 4PM

Our brothers and sisters in Lebanon are in need of our support as winter approaches.

SABA is partnering with Helping Hand for Relief and Development in Santa Clara to send urgently needed items to those displaced in Lebanon. Helping Hand USA is a well-established non-profit with a 4-star charity navigator rating that we have worked with in the past.

Please gather the following items in NEW OR LIKE-NEW CONDITION, (clean, folded and sorted) and bring them to the Helping Hand office on Saturday October 19th from 2-4pm.

Please remember to give of what you love when choosing what to donate; ensure items are in great condition and culturally appropriate for our brothers and sisters in Lebanon. Bring the kids along to make a card to express love and Inshallah bring a smile to displaced children.

Items Needed:

Western and Lebanese Islamic Clothing (men, women, kids)

Jackets/coats/sweaters

Blankets: Queen and King

Hygiene: Diapers, Pads, Underwear, Toothbrush, Toothpaste

Tennis Shoes (Tied in pairs)

Wheelchairs, Canes, Crutches, Walkers.
