Leadership Update: Religious Programming & Our Path Forward

We pray this message finds you and your loved ones in good health and Iman.

As part of our ongoing commitment to transparency and organizational clarity, we wish to share an important leadership update with our beloved community.

Shaykh Mohammad Faqih has accepted a full-time position with another institution and is no longer serving at the Memphis Islamic Center. We are sincerely grateful for his service and the positive impact he has had during his time with us. We pray that Allah (SWT) blesses him and his family in this next chapter of his journey.

In ensuring continued strength and consistency in our religious programming, Shaykh Yassir Fazaga has taken on the coordination of MICs spiritual servicesincluding daily Salah, Jumuah khutbahs, and weekly Khatiras. His presence has already brought great value to our community, and we are confident in his continued leadership and guidance.

At the same time, our Executive Director, Br. Sameer Mansour, is overseeing day-to-day operations and execution, helping steer MIC through the next phase of our strategic growth. This includes expanding youth initiatives, enhancing core services, and increasing operational capacity to meet the needs of our growing community.

We thank you for your continued support, duaa, and involvement. With your partnership, we remain focused on nurturing a vibrant, welcoming, and purpose-driven MIC.
