Asalamu Alaikum Brothers and Sisters,
May Allah bless you and your families in these most special and important nights of the year.
Important Dates/Events:
- Last 10 nights started on Wednesday, March 19
- Odd nights are Thursday, March 20; Saturday, March 22; Monday, March 24; Wednesday, March 26; Friday, March 28
- Tahajud prayer at 4:00am
- Fajr prayer at 6:50am
- Isha will be at 9:15pm starting on Friday, March 21 followed by Taraweeh
- 27th night: Wednesday, March 26
- Khatma at the Hoda Center: Friday, March 28 (29th night)
- According to the Fiqh Council of North America and the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), Eid Al Fitr will be on Sunday, March 30 insha'Allah. Hoda Center is sponsoring Eid this year.
ZAKAT AL FITR
Please pay your Zakat Al Fitr BEFORE EID DAY IF POSSIBLE! This will ensure that we can get the funds to those who are in need.
Zakat Al Fitr is $15/person (minimum) for each member of your family. Please remember this is a MINIMUM, if you can pay more, please do!
Hoda Center has made it easy to pay: There are specific boxes in the Hoda Center designated Zakat Al Fitr or you click the DONATE button below and in the drop down box, click ZAKAT AL FITR. Or use Venmo (see below), Zelle (see below), or text to pay. PLEASE SPECIFY ZAKAT AL FITR.
In these final days of Ramadan, the Hoda Center needs your support! The Prophet (SAW) said, "The charity you give will be your shade on the Day of Judgment." This is a Sadaqah Jariya (continuous charity).
Alhamduillah, the Hoda Center is completing it's 25th year! Jazakum Allah Kheir to all those who have donated over the years for the large projects which have included new AC, a new roof, parking lot repairs/resurfacing, updated cameras, etc. May Allah shade you under the thrown on the Day of Judgement.
Your donations this year will not only be used to continue to update and maintain the Hoda Center but also for the future expansion project insha'Allah.
