Asalamu Alaikum Parents,
Introducing:
THE JUNIOR KHATEEB PROGRAM for the YOUTH
This new program will engage the amazing youth of our community to give the khatira (3-5 minutes) after the first half of Taraweeh.
This Junior Khateeb Program is designed for our youth to gain a deeper knowledge of our beautiful deen, provide leadership skills, and instill self confidence. Also, this will help our youth gain more confidence in public speaking and encourage a love for dawa.
First Mentoring/training session will be this Friday (Feb 28) after athan of Isha at 7:45pm and before Isha prayer at 8:00pm.
The Hoda Center is excited about this new initiative for our youth in the Gainesville community.
