لَا ٱلشَّمْسُ يَنۢبَغِى لَهَآ أَن تُدْرِكَ ٱلْقَمَرَ وَلَا ٱلَّيْلُ سَابِقُ ٱلنَّهَارِ ۚ وَكُلٌّۭ فِى فَلَكٍۢ يَسْبَحُونَ (٤٠)

"It is not for the sun to catch up with the moon, nor does the night outrun the day. Each is travelling in an orbit of their own."

(Surah Ya-Sin, Verse 40)

حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، قَالَ‏:‏ أَخْبَرَنَا أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ قَالَ‏:‏ أَخْبَرَنِي مُوسَى بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ مَوْلَى ابْنَةِ قَارِظٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّهُ رُبَّمَا حَدَّثَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم، فَيَقُولُ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنِيهِ أَهْدَبُ الشُّفْرَيْنِ، أَبْيَضُ الْكَشْحَيْنِ، إِذَا أَقْبَلَ أَقْبَلَ جَمِيعًا، وَإِذَا أَدْبَرَ، أَدْبَرَ جَمِيعًا، لَمْ تَرَ عَيْنٌ مِثْلَهُ، وَلَنْ تَرَاهُ‏.‏

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:

"When he faced someone, he faced him completely. When he turned away, he turned away completely. I have never seen anyone like him and I will never see anyone like them."
