IMPORTANT: Eid Al Adha Announcements
We have entered the month of Dhul Hijjah, one of the sacred months of the Islamic calendar. Some important dates to keep in mind:
- The Day of Arafat is on Thursday, June 5, 2025
- Eid Al Adha is on Friday, June 6. Details about Eid prayers will be posted soon.
- PLEASE NOTE: Since Eid Al Adha is falling on a Friday, there will be only one Jumu'ah congregation that day, at 2:00 PM.
Like the last 10 nights of Ramadan, the first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah are very blessed for Muslims. We should strive to worship Allah with the best of our abilities, repent for our mistakes, and spend our wealth generously to earn His pleasure.
Udhiyah Meat Distribution at Masjid Bilal
Masjid Bilal's schedule for Udhiyah meat drop-off and distribution:
- Time: 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM
- Eid Day 1 (Friday) - ONLY drop-off, no distribution
- Eid Day 2 & 3 (Saturday & Sunday) - drop-off and distribution (same time).
Please bring meat in small 1-2 pound packets.
SHARE Garden
"Join us every Saturday this season from 10-1 to work in our community garden with us! All ages are welcome, but children must be accompanied by an adult. In sha Allah, we will see you all this Saturday!!"
SHARE Lexington Fresh Produce Market
SHARE's Fresh Produce Market will be happening this Saturday, the 31st! Volunteers are needed from 10 AM! Please spread the word with anyone who can benefit!
Note: Masjid Door Unlocks Before Prayer Time
The Masjid doors automatically unlock a few minutes before the Iqama/congregation prayer times.

Masjid Bilal Weekend Islamic School - End of School Year Program
As the 2024-25 school year comes to a close, the End of School Year Program will be held on Sunday, June 1, during regular Sunday School time (11 AM to 2 PM), in sha Allah. Parents and families of students are invited to join us for performances and the awards ceremony!
