Taraweeh Announcement
Taraweeh prayers will be held at Masjid Bilal, in shaa Allah. On the first night of Ramadan, the Isha iqamah will be at 8:10 PM.
SHARE Lexington - Fresh Produce Market
We are in need of volunteers at the SHARE Center tomorrow, Friday at 3 PM and Saturday from 10 AM to 1 PM, with the highest need at 10 AM on Saturday.
Since Ramadan is fast approaching and soon everyone will be fasting, we want to avoid placing too much of a workload on a small group this month. Your support is especially needed this month.
Please use this spreadsheet to sign up. It greatly helps us track volunteer recruitment and ensures we have the right number of people for the event. Knowing this information is essential so we can assess whether we need to recruit additional volunteers. You can sign up for future events as well, as we have all the dates for March on the spreadsheet!

Classes at Masjid Bilal to pause for Ramadan 2025
- Masjid Bilal is offering the following in-person classes:
- Mondays at 5 pm:-The Essentials of Worship
- Mondays at 6pm:- I****ntroduction to Islam These classes are both in-person and online. The zoom links can be found on our website calendar.
- Tuesdays after Maghrib prayer: Short Surah memorization with Qari Abdur Razzaq
- Saturdays after Maghrib prayer: Qaidah Nooraniyyah with Qari Abdur Razzaq
- Sunday evenings: Halaqas with Brother Omar Hassan (Timing TBA)
Sponsor an Iftar this Ramadan
Masjid Bilal will have community sponsored Iftars on weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) insha Allah. Please check our calendar as we may not have Iftar every weekend, depending on sponsorships.
In order to provide opportunity to all community groups, the Masjid is currently accepting only one sponsorship per group or an individual until February 20, 2025. After that, any individual or group is able to choose as many open spots as available.
Please sign up here if you are willing to sponsor an Iftar as an individual or as a community.
Parking Issue during Jumu'ah prayers
Masjid Bilal needs your help with the following:
- The first prayer (1 PM) is more crowded than the second (2 PM), with too many cars to park. If you don't need to attend the first prayer, please plan to attend the second prayer. This would make it easy for you to park while saving a few spots for those who need to attend the first prayer.
- If you can, please carpool to the Masjid so we can save a few more parking spots.
- Follow the directions of the volunteers helping with parking. They are there to help!
Your help in this matter is greatly appreciated!
Note: Masjid Door Unlocks Before Prayer Time
The Masjid doors automatically unlock a few minutes before the Iqama/congregation prayer times.

The Community Development Committee is seeking your input to improve the Masjid. We want to understand your aspirations and expectations for the Masjid, so we can work together to create a space that truly serves everyone for the sake of Allah (SWT) Please share your contact information to participate in future surveys and discussions.

- Monthly family night programs
- Ramadan planning
- Educational and social programs
- Any other initiatives that enhance Masjid engagement
