Important Message
The Masjid has an important message about our beloved Imam Shaheed Coovadia, whose last day serving this community will be December 31st. For years, he has led us with wisdom, patience, and dedication. His commitment to serving and uplifting each of us has been a true blessing, and we are deeply grateful for his countless contributionsbe it through his inspiring khutbahs, his guidance in times of difficulty, his classes and educational programs, or his support for our families, youth, and elders. We encourage the community to reach out to Imam Shaheed and express their gratitude for the service he has provided and the time he has dedicated to enriching our lives.

Note: Masjid Door Unlocks Before Prayer Time
From now on, the Masjid doors will automatically unlock a few minutes before the Iqama/congregation prayer times, in shaa Allah.

Join SHARE Kentucky in Serving our Community
We are excited to share some of the work being done by SHARE Kentucky, a Muslim-run nonprofit based in Masjid Bilals first-ever building in Lexington. The organization is committed to uplifting the community through various programs and services, including:
Food B****ank: Providing essential groceries to families in need.
Employment Assistance: Helping individuals find meaningful work and career opportunities.
Community Garden: Growing fresh, local produce to support our neighbors.
Free Lunch Program: Offering meals to those in need every week.
Additionally, theyre currently working to reopen their free clinic, providing medical care to underserved members of the community.
They are seeking passionate volunteers and leaders to join us in making a difference. Whether it is to help with their food bank, support their garden, volunteer as a healthcare provider at the free clinic, or take on a leadership role, they would love to have you on their team!
