Assalamu Alaikum Dear Community Members,
Please join friends and neighbors for an interfaith vigil: Prayers for Liberty!
Our friends at the Reservoir Church are holding the Cambridge Prayers for Liberty prayer vigil onCambridge Common on Sunday, August 3rd at 4:00 p.m, to stand together to support due process, freedom and democracy.
We as a community have been invited by them to participate in the prayer and promote it within our community.
This is part of a campaign to insist upon a kinder, more just, more faithful democracy.
Our friends at the Reservoir Church believe that their sacred values and democratic traditions compel them to speak up, to stand up, to march, and to pray!Let's think for a moment, what does our faith compel us to do? Shouldn't we be at the forefront of such action?
