Keynote Address by Shaykh Husain Abdul Sattar
As-Salamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,
Alhamdulillah, last Saturday night, we at DarusSalam Foundation had the honor of hosting our friends, family, and community at our benefit dinner. We would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to the brothers, sisters and children who joined us to show their support!
Between the dhikr of Allah , salawat upon Rasulullah , and the attendees following the example of the Sahabah by generously giving sadaqah in the path of Allah , it was truly a night of barakah and spiritual upliftment! We hope that all those in attendance had an amazing time.
Alhamdulilah, we were able to end the presentations and fundraiser by 9:00 PM in order to serve the mouthwatering Al-Bawadi dinner to all of our attendees at their tables! If there were any shortcomings on our part or you were inconvenienced in any way, we ask for your forgiveness and welcome your feedback to improve future programs.
We cannot forget to thank our dedicated volunteers who worked so tirelessly and sacrificed so greatly in preparation for this dinner. Most of us do not see the magnitude of the effort that is put into making these events a success, but Allah is a witness and we ask Him to reward them in a way only He is capable of in both this life and the next.
Lastly, we would like to express our great appreciation to our guest of honor, Shaykh Husain Abdul Sattar, for enlightening us with his inspiring Keynote Address.
