Day of Arafah
We are approaching the Day of 'Arafah, one of the most sacred days in the Islamic calendar. It is a day Prophet Muhammad said that a pilgrim's Hajj is going to 'Arafah. That land is where Prophet Adam and our mother Hawwa were reunited on Earth, a land where Prophet Muhammad gave his farewell sermon, and a land where we will all be resurrected on the Day of Judgment.
To help you make the most of this special day, here are a few preparation tips:
Fasting: It is highly recommended to fast on the Day of Arafah. The Prophet said, "It expiates the sins of the previous year and the coming year."
Dua and Supplication: Increase your supplications. The best dua is the dua on the Day of Arafah.
Recite Quran: Dedicate time to read and reflect on the Quran.
Seek Knowledge: Listen to Islamic lectures, read religious texts, and enhance your understanding of Islam.
Giving Sadaqa/Zakat: Engage in acts of kindness and charity.
Remember, the first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah arent over yet! You have time to reap the benefits through the above tips and more.
May Allah accept our duas, ibadaah and aupplications
