As-Salaamu `Alaykum ,
As we embrace the blessed month of Muharram, marking the beginning of the Islamic New Year, let us take a moment to reflect on our personal and collective journeys as a community. It is a joy to share this meaningful time together.
Muharram is one of the sacred months in Islama time for renewal, remembrance, and spiritual reflection. It serves as a reminder of the Hijrahthe migration of the Prophet Muhammad and his companionsa profound act of faith, sacrifice, and trust in Allahs plan.
In this spirit, let us welcome this new year by fostering our bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood and committing ourselves to justice, compassion, and truth. I encourage everyone to engage in shared prayers and consider community service initiatives that can uplift us all.
May you and your families find peace and blessings this Muharram. May our hearts be filled with sincere intentions and an increase in worship.
