Imam Candidate Visit: Shaykh Talha Lasania
Visit Date: April 18 - 19th, 2025
We are pleased to introduce Shaykh Talha Lasania, who brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and dedication to Islamic education and community service.
Born and raised in Springfield, Ohio, Shaykh Talha began his Islamic journey by completing his Hifz from the Institute of Islamic Education in Chicago, and later graduating from Darul Uloom Bury in the UK, a renowned Islamic seminary. To further his studies, he attended the Qasid Arabic Institute in Amman, Jordan, deepening his studies of the Arabic language.
Shaykh Talha went on to serve as an Imam in Columbus, Ohio, for nearly three years. During that time, he also earned a Masters degree in Islamic Education from the University of Warwick in the UK.
In addition to serving as an Imam, Shaykh Talha has held various roles, including Assistant Imam, Youth Director, Islamic Curriculum Developer, and Maktab Principal and Instructor.
He has a deep passion for teaching and engaging youth about Islam and is committed to dedicating his life to the preservation and dissemination of Islamic knowledge.
We are excited to welcome Shaykh Talha to our community and look forward to benefiting from his wisdom, energy, and dedication, inshaAllah.
PARKING | SECURITY
REMINDERS
- On Jummah, enter through the entrance by Easton Park, do not enter through the main gate
- Slow down coming in and out, roll down your windows when coming in the evening for Taraweeh prayer, for security identification for everyone's safety
- If you have a handicap or are dropping off, turn on your car's hazard lights as you enter ISONET so the parking staff knows where to direct you
- The overflow brothers' prayer area will be outside under the tent, and the overflow area for sisters will be in the back, on the new turf area next to the playground area.
