[ISNRV] Eid Al-Adha 2025 Announcement and Activities.

Assalam Alaikum Dear Brothers and Sisters,

May your good deeds be accepted by Allah during these blessed days. We have some important announcements regarding this year's Eid Al-Adha:

Eid Al-Adha will take place on Friday, June 6th,inshaAllah. Therewill be two Eid prayers, both at the ISNRV Blacksburg location.

Friday June 6th

First Eid Prayer, 7:30 am:

Takbeer will begin at 7:30 am, followed by the prayer at 8:00 am at the ISNRV blacksburg location.

Second Eid Prayer, 9:00 am:

Takbeer will begin at 9:00 am, followed by the prayer at 9:30 am at the ISNRV blacksburg location.

Logistics and Parking:

For the prayer arrangements, women and children will pray upstairs and in the basement, while men will pray in the main musallah and outside (if weather permits).

To accommodate as many people as possible, ONLY High Occupancy Vehicles (HOVs) and elderly cars will be allowed to park in the Masjid area. Please try to carpool or use the Food Lion parking area. The rules will be strictly enforced!

Breakfast, after Eid Khutba:

Eid prayer will be followed by a light breakfast, coffee & tea, and kids goodies.

Udhiyah at Kadiri Farm, 11:00 am:

At 11 am there will be udhiyah (sacrifice) at Kadiri farm, all the sheep are now reserved but all are welcome to spend the afternoon at the farm. It's a great opportunity to learn about udhiya and help others complete their udhiya and spend some time on the beautiful farm.

Importantly, please be considerate and keep the farm clean. Avoid leaving your garbage exposed and make sure to dispose of animal remains and trash in the designated trash bins. In case you cannot locate a trash can, kindly approach someone for assistance, and they will guide you accordingly.

Saturday, June 7th

**Eid Family Visits Day,****2-7 PM,**Saturday, June 7th

Were excited to invite your3rd to 5th grade child (during 2024-2025 academic year)to take part in a special Eid activity onSaturday, June 7th (2nd day of Eid)!

As part of reviving a beautiful tradition, small groups of children will visit local families to enjoy:

• A quick 20-minute visit

• A fun activity (can be a story from the host or a short hands-on activity or watching a short fun video)

• A small treat to take home!

**Boys visits:**2:005:00 PM
**Girls visits:**4:007:00 PM

This is a wonderful way for kids to celebrate Eid together, connect with the community, and make happy memories. We are keeping this small and simple as a first-time trial, so spots are really limited. We will confirm your child's participation and details as we get closer to the event. We truly appreciate your understanding.

Sunday, June 8th

Tea, Coffee, and Sweets at the park, 4:00 pm, Sunday June 8th, Claytor Lake State Park:

The community will go to Claytor Lake State Park the afternoon of Sunday June 8th and enjoy a great day outdoors together to finish off Eid Weekend. Please bring your favorite dessert and tea/coffee to share with other community members.

Calytor lake state park has a $7 parking fee but is otherwise free to enjoy.
