ISWV Announcement: Urgent message to the community regarding Taraweeh Prayers

As-Salaamu `Alaykum Dear Community Members,
InshaAllah all is well.
There has been a change in events in the past 12 hours with regards to the ISWV rental agreement with Hamakom (Temple Aliyah).
Since our successful program last night, it has been brought to our attention that there has been negative sentiment within the Hamakom membership expressed towards their Board regarding the ISWV community utilizing their facility for the month of Ramadan.
We have had multiple meetings with their Rabbi, Board Chairman and the ISWV board throughout the day to understand their situation. Based on those conversations it was concluded that we will discontinue our rental agreement as of today while Hamakom mitigates the negative sentiments within their community.
InshaAllah we will be holding our Isha and Taraweeh tonight at ISWV Masjid site located at 7060 Owensmouth Ave location at 9pm. We will provide our community a forum and a moment to debrief about these developments.
ISWV board will update the community regarding further developments as we continue to engage with the Hamakom board and leadership.
