Tulsa Muslim community is alarmed at State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Ryan Walters dictate that public school districts include the Bible in their academic curriculum. The Islamic Society of Tulsa rejects Walters unholy attempt to usurp parental control over the religious education of Muslim kids.

Ryan Walters dictate is a backdoor to indoctrinate non-Christian American kids away from their beliefs and religions. 

Teaching any religious doctrine does not belong in the Public Schools. Private religious schools are free to do so, but not the Public Schools.

Mr. Walters ought to know that his directive violates the Constitution of the United States. Oklahomans are overwhelmingly against using public dollars to promote any religion. 

The money that will be wasted in defending this indefensible move is better spent on enhancing our childrens education and on supporting their teachers.

We ask Ryan Walters to withdraw his edict to the Oklahoma Public Schools.
