[ISNRV] Spring Barbecue and Celebration of Upcoming Expansion Groundbreaking

Assalam Alaikum Dear Brothers and Sisters,

We hope you had a blessed Ramadan and wonderful Eid insha'allah. Alhamdulillah this Ramadan we had a great fundraising response, setting a new Ramadan fundraising record and raising $257,000 through the local community. Including alumni donations we have raised over $600,000 Alhamdulillah! May Allah accept from all of our generous donors this Ramadan and increase you all in wealth and blessings.

This level of giving, in combination with our generous match has Alhamdulilah put us in a great position to break ground this spring. In addition, we are continuing to aggressively push with the town of Blacksburg to insha'allah finalize the site plan permit and allow us to start work soon. We are also in the process of finalizing the agreement with the site contractor to start work at the end of the semester insha'allah.

We give thanks to Allah for his blessings on our community and would like to invite you to celebrate this wonderful community accomplishment together on the last Saturday of April (April 27th). We are thrilled to welcome Delegate Salam Rasoul from Roanoke as a keynote speaker for the event insha'allah!

We will be having a community barbecue and numerous community activities for members of all ages! Please bring your family members.
