[ISNRV] Friday Announcement - Jum’a Times Adjusted
Assalam Alaikum Everyone,
Please be informed that due to daylight saving time, the Juma prayer times have been adjusted. The first Juma prayer will be held at 1:30 PM, the second Juma prayer will be at 2:30 PM.
Kindly review the details below regarding today's Juma prayers and Saturdays community iftar potluck, tahajud prayer (1.5 hr before fajr prayer), and weekly halaqas scheduled for this weekend.
Friday Prayer
FridayPrayer Times:We will have TWO Juma prayers today. The first khutba will start at 1:30 pm. The second khutba will be at 2:30 pm, inshaAllah.
Parking: HOVs will ONLY be permitted to park within the ISNRV lot, so please try to carpool. And, note we are ONLYallowedto park at Rocket Music's parking lot duringFridayprayers.Parking in our next-door Durrani's lot, which is between the masjid and Rocket Music, is NOT permitted. Towing will be enforced against violators!
Community Iftar Potluck
Each Saturday during Ramadan we will have a community potluck iftar at the masjid. This iftar is open to both men and women. We look forward to seeing you and tasting you exciting traditional dishes tomorrow.
Tahajjud Prayer this Saturday (1.5 hrs before Fajr)
Following the taraweeh prayer, we will perform the tahajjud prayer, beginning 1.5 hours before Fajr prayer. Every Saturday, we will dedicate tahajjud prayer to those suffering in Gaza. This timing allows for a light suhoor before Fajr prayer, insha'Allah.
Weekly Halaqas
Halaqas: The masjid halaqa schedulefor this weekend will be as follows:
- Sunday, the TafseerHalaqa will be after Dhuhr prayer, inshaAllah.
**Regular Iftars for Singles and Students:**We will provide an iftar at the masjid Monday-Friday during Ramadan. If you are single and would like to sign up to receive an iftar, please follow thislink.
