[ISNRV] Expansion Project Ramadan 2024 Fundraising, $25,000 Match in Effect 🕌
Assalamu AlaikumDear Brothers and Sisters,
RamadanMubarak insha'allah, we wish all of you a blessed and fruitful month insha'allah. We are excited to make our annual Ramadan push for the expansion of our masjid insha'allah.
After receiving a lot of input from all stakeholders andseveral rounds of revisions, the design of the new building is coming together. You can see the progress on thebuilding design below:
We are pursuing donations from a variety of sources, but in order for the plan to stay on track, we need to raise**$250,000**this Ramadan from our local community! We also have a $25,000 match so all donations will be doubled insha'allah!

Key Expansion Updates:
- We are in the final round of approval process to get the permit from the City of Blacksburg and the Army Corp of Engineering. As soon as we receive both, we canbreak ground insha'allah.
- Through the design process, we learned that it is very difficult to connect the buildings at a later time. Thus, we hope to connect the existing building to the new building in this next phase insha'allah.
- One of our alumni recently pledged to donate $1 Million towards the construction of the new building (Takbeer!). This will allow us to build the site/parking and the building shell together, significantly decreasing the overall cost of the project andkeeping us on schedule.
